July was not as busy as previous months, but has given me time to design new things.
This month I also become a member of BrisStyle, an awesome community!
There have been a few requests for Initial Stamp Jewelry as Bridesmaid Gifts and thought I'ld give it a go. So here's my story:
There have been a few requests for Initial Stamp Jewelry as Bridesmaid Gifts and thought I'ld give it a go. So here's my story:
A few weeks ago I ordered a stamping set from Sara at Sparkling Shamrock.. Everyday since then eagerly waiting like a 5 year old for lollies, at the post box for the postman to deliver that parcel.... which I received earlier this week.... Sara then emailed the instructions to me, Thank you !
Without anything to stamp on, makes no jewelry.... So at the same time of ordering the stamping set, I ordered silver blank rounds from StudioOnTheHill, the silver blank rounds she made are excellent and will certainly order from her again. Got them in the postbox this morning :)
Then this afternoon during my lunch hour, I made an attempt and it came out almost perfect.. not bad for a first attempt, I think... Have a look at the pic above..
I used the my daughter's Initial 'N' and asked her what color she would love to combine with this and she said yellow.. So at the end I completed an Initial Stamp on Round Silver, with a yellow glass bead as charms on a silver chain..
That wasn't enough, I made one for myself, with Round Silver 'R' charm, for Rishka, and a white glass pearl as charms on a silver chain, that I had to make as well :)
